Ingredience

  • 1 cup Sprouted green pea crunchy flakes
  • 1 red onion (finely chopped)
  • 5 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 pc ginger (walnut size), crush to a paste
  • 2 medium tomatoes (or puree)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 small chilli pepper like jalapeno
  • 1 teaspoon crushed cumin seeds
  • 1 spoon crushed coriander
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or soy, almond or cow's milk)

Postup

  1. Pour 1/3 of a cup of coconut milk into a deeper pan. Add the onion, garlic, ginger and chilli, if using. The fat in the coconut milk will benefit the flavor of the onions and herbs. Season with salt. Fry for a few minutes – until the onions are soft.
  2. Add cumin, coriander, turmeric and pepper. Stir, add tomato paste (or 2 diced medium tomatoes). Cook over medium-high heat for about five minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated and the mixture is darker.
  3. Add the remaining coconut milk and bring to a boil. Add the Sprouted Pea Chips. Let the mixture cook for 10 minutes. If the mixture is too dry, add water. Check the salt and garnish with perhaps a fresh herb.
  4. Serve hot with rice, Indian bread or ciabatta.
